Three in the Bed

Song of the week!  (adapted from “Ten in the Bed”)

Singing number rhymes is a fun and engaging way to support your child’s English language development while introducing counting skills!

For babies: Gently roll them side to side as you sing, then finish with a big cuddle!

For toddlers: Line up their favourite cuddly toys and let them roll them out of bed as they sing along. Of course, your little ones could roll over too! Get them to lie on their backs and raise their arms above their heads then roll over!!

For ages 3+: Count backward from 5 or 10 and add a playful twist—choose a body part that “gets hurt” each time someone falls out!

But why is rolling so great for children? It helps develop vestibular and proprioceptive awareness—essential for balance, coordination, and movement!
